Lavender Inspiration

One of the nicest parts of July is seeing the Lavender in bloom.

There is the loveliest Lavender garden on the Cape called The Cape Cod Lavender Farm

I am linking to Mary's Mosaic Monday today.  Stop by Little Red House and see all the inspiration.

Lavender, I love the blooms, the scent and even Lavender cake.

If you remember correctly, you painted a sweet watercolor for me of a lavender field about FIVE years ago. I still it, framed in a gorgeous gold frame. Oh Karen, this farm looks dreamy! Your photos as well are what lavender dreams are made of. Have a super summer evening! Anita

Lavender plants are so beautiful. I love the dusty green foliage contrasted with the intense purple-blue of the flowers. Your photos are lovely - what a fun time you had visiting the lavender farm.

Oh now I've never had the chance to have any lavender cake. That sounds intriguing!

Karen this is lovely...Lavender is so exquisite in bloom and scent. I love to make sprays and body powder with lavender oil. It truly soothes the soul. Delightful mosaic.

Blessings,
Marianne

Oh, Karen. I had no idea there was a lavender farm there.

Your photos are glorious and the violin music was gorgeous, too. Susan

Ahhh...I feel like this post is just for me! I still have the lavender button you made of me on my sidebar. And I ordered some lavender last week and it might come today. Thanks for sharing your photos and art! I'll have a lavender day! Sweet hugs!

I defy anyone to pass by a clump of lavender without touching the blossoms to release some of that wonderful scent. Lavender grows well on the Island and everyone seems to have a patch, and there are lavender farms up and down the length. I keep a bottle of lavender oil and a lavender spray on my bedside table. A dab of oil on my pillow and a spritz to the bedside light and I'm off to dreamland within minutes settling in bed. Sweet Lavender dreams!
