All I want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas,

So much has happened in just two short months.

Well for starters Ned and I moved to North Carolina in November.

My girls, their significant others and little RJ have moved into our home.

They are enjoying the space and we are enjoying knowing that our home is in good hands.

Samantha and Cocoa are staying in our home with everybody and RJ's favorite new word is "Cocoa."

Ashley is expecting another little boy in February, so RJ will soon have a new baby brother.

I drove back here from North Carolina and stopped by to visit with my friend Judy, before continuing back home.  I am going to be here this entire month. Ned will join me the week before Christmas and then we will drive back together after Christmas.

I plan on spending the next few weeks decorating, spending time with my friends and family.

All I want for Christmas…I already have.  Spending time with my friends and family mean more to me this year, because I know we have to be back in North Carolina after the holiday.

How are you spending this Christmas?

Wow! That is a lot going on. So glad that you'll be spending Christmas in familiar surroundings. NC has to have a lot to offer...so many of our blogging buds live there. Love to you...keeping you and yours tucked into my prayers and wishing you a wonderful Christmas.

Oh my goodness, Karen, I've missed you. Now I know what you've been up to...or down to. :) It's going to take some time to think of this New England girl as a Southerner. :)
It's been quite the transitional year for our family too and I've vented plenty through way too many blogging changes, but my heart is always at HOME.
All I want for Christmas I already have...LOVE IT!
Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.

Did I miss something? Your blog is on my feed so I didn't think I had, but North Carolina? I guess I hadn't seen you post as much lately so I guess that explains it. Glad the kids are holding down the fort and that you can spend Christmas with them. Is this a pemanent move? Enjoy the decorating and the family, Karen. Wishing you God's blessings wherever you may roam.

Dear Karen, I was just thinking of you and realized I had not seen your post in my email and then here you are. You have had so much going on and a move too. WOW!! Where in NC are you? I have friends in Charlotte and Cary too.
Love your pics and the Christmas photo of sweet RJ. Congrats to your daughter on the newest little one on the way and all the best to your girls.

I just had to smile at the photo of your Golden in the snow looking off the deck. This pic reminds me of my sweet Miss B. Oh how I miss her so. She loved Christmas too.
Love your tree painting!!
Wishing you every blessing in your new home in NC and much love to you always.
Merry Christmas my friend.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

OH MY....Karen, I am here with our dear Marcia, and equally happy and surprised to see you, as well as having MISSED YOU! This is a huge step and I'm sure you thought a lot about it, yet things like this come up suddenly as well. Before you know it,you find yourself SOMEWHERE ELSE! I am so happy that your family is in your home, taking good care of it!

I think that is brilliant, that you already have what you want. And that child singing! I had one of her songs on my blog last year, and what PIPES on that kid! teeheee

Oh it's so nice to see you again! Have a super time with the family and be safe on the road, dear, dear friend! Anita
