Merry Christmas

Christmas is always so busy, but my little Grandsons kept me remembering what is important this time of year. We went to pick out our tree.

I found a lovely version of The Secret of Christmas, sung by Bing Crosby.

RJ helped me decorate the bottom branches.

Ashley and the boys have made this Christmas so much fun.

My daughter Sarah and my son-in-law, Mike are expecting their first child.  Sarah is due on May 4, 2016, but they are keeping it a surprise.  So, I have been buying lots of yellow and white baby things for Christmas.

Wishing you and your family a beautiful and blessed Christmas.

All I want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas,

So much has happened in just two short months.

Well for starters Ned and I moved to North Carolina in November.

My girls, their significant others and little RJ have moved into our home.

They are enjoying the space and we are enjoying knowing that our home is in good hands.

Samantha and Cocoa are staying in our home with everybody and RJ's favorite new word is "Cocoa."

Ashley is expecting another little boy in February, so RJ will soon have a new baby brother.

I drove back here from North Carolina and stopped by to visit with my friend Judy, before continuing back home.  I am going to be here this entire month. Ned will join me the week before Christmas and then we will drive back together after Christmas.

I plan on spending the next few weeks decorating, spending time with my friends and family.

All I want for Christmas…I already have.  Spending time with my friends and family mean more to me this year, because I know we have to be back in North Carolina after the holiday.

How are you spending this Christmas?

Advent Calendar Day 21 Gift

Welcome to the gift of an Advent Calendar.  I have always loved Advent calendars.  When I was little, I just couldn't wait to open each little door and find the surprise waiting there.

This Christmas I am turning my blog into an Advent calendar, so I can give you a Christmas surprise every day until Christmas.  Every day I will post downloadable artwork for you to use as my gift.

When my girls were grown and there was no one who believed at Christmas, my heart used to miss the laughter and joy.  I used to borrow that joy from my friend Joyce, who has the most delightful grandchildren ever.  This Christmas we are all walking on cloud nine.

Today's gift are some more gift tags for you.

You can download your file here.  The name of the file is Advent Calendar Gift 21, Christmas tree tags. This will print nicely on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper.  Happy gift wrapping.

Your download file with look like this.
I have also designed some with the word believe for you, which you can download here. The name of the file is called Advent Calendar Day 21 Gift, Believe Christmas tree tags.

Your file will look like this when you download it.

During the Christmas season, I will be creating more gift tags, Christmas stationery, and all kinds of art for you to use.  You can give the art as gifts, decorate your home or use on your Christmas crafts and cards.  If you miss a day, just click on this page, and you can see all the posts and artwork at a glance.

You can also find all of the artwork on my Pinterest Board called An Advent Calendar of Downloadable Artwork.  If you click the artwork that you like, it will lead you back here with the link to the download.

Little RJ has filled us all with the magic of Believing once again.  We took him to see Santa yesterday, and between this little Santa helper and the many little ones waiting alongside us...

I am filled with the joy of believing again!

Advent Calendar Day 18 Gift

Welcome to the gift of an Advent Calendar.  I have always loved Advent calendars.  When I was little, I just couldn't wait to open each little door and find the surprise waiting there.

This Christmas I am turning my blog into an Advent calendar, so I can give you a Christmas surprise every day until Christmas.  Every day I will post downloadable artwork for you to use as my gift.
To remind us of the Children singing in heaven today, I chose a song by Jackie Evancho to serenade our post.

There is nothing as mindful of the season as snow falling at night.  One evening I took a ride to see the Christmas lights by one of the nearby lakes.  At the end of the block facing the lake, a gazebo was lit for the Holidays.

A Christmas tree was inside, as if some little guests might arrive any minute. Snow was gently falling creating that beautiful silence that only snow can make.  The scene was too beautiful not to capture and bring home to share.

Today's gift is a print for you of the Merry Christmas Gazebo scene.  The name of the file is called Advent Gift Day 18, Merry Christmas Gazebo, and you can download the file here.

I thought you might need some more large tags to decorate your packages.  The name of the file is called Advent Gift Day 18, Merry Christmas Gazebo tags, and you can download the file here.
