Yesterday I visited one of my favorite farms and the produce looked so gorgeous. The people that work there take so much time working on the vegetable displays and the flowers inside are beautifully arranged as well.

Outside you can find plants, pumpkins and baskets of produce. I stopped to pick up a bouquet of vegetables for my mom. She is an amazing cook and better than flowers she loves it when I bring a basket of vegetables.
While in the market, I saw the most magical sight, a young girl dancing all over the market. She was practicing all of her ballet movements as she helped her mother shop. It brought back memories of all the magical sights in the Hong Kong marketplaces. I took out this sketch I did from memory a while back, and digitally colored it this morning...sketch-a-memory.
I have always enjoyed going to vegetable and flower markets. While in Hong Kong, there were wonderful markets in a place called Happy Valley. I love the sights and sounds found in the marketplace.

After I packed up the vegetables, I headed for the drive to Vermont. The drive usually takes about four hours, but it seems like only a short drive because of the scenery.

I enjoy the drive to Vermont,

and the fall foliage decorating the White Mountains took my breath away.

The sunset was magnificent against the mountains framed by Lake Champlain.

Sunsets in Vermont are always a beautiful scene.

The song for this post is Moonlight In Vermont sung by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong.

A lovely day, ended by watching the sunset over Lake Champlain.
