Nice Matters

Wendy just gave me this lovely "Nice Matters" Award today. Thank you so much Wendy, you really made my day. Nice does matter, more than we know. A little tenderness and thoughtfulness touches your heart, and immediately you want to share it. Nice is contageous and it matters more than so many other things. A simple nice gesture or word can brighten your day, soothe the soul, and make you feel valued and connected.

I thought about who I would like to give this "Nice Matters" Award to, and it didn't take me very long to decide. Kathleen, who inspires me every day, my sister, Susan who makes me think that I can do anything, Suze, who is such a dear and kind friend, Teri, my kindred spirit who leaves me such nice notes, the amazing generous and thoughtful, Holli, the lovely Lin who's kindness is revealed in her words and brush, and Molly, who makes being nice a way of life.

Wendy, thank you again for this award, and for giving me a gift that I could share today. Ladies, knowing how loved you are, you might have already received this award, but I am sending it to you today to thank you for being so NICE because it matters!

Blessings, Karen

The song for this post is Try A Little Tenderness, a tribute to Michael Buble.

Thank you so much, Karen!
I couldn't think of a nicer person than you to receive this award in the first place! Wendy certainly knew what she was doing!
Blessings to all!

Oh Karen, isn't that just like you to receive a well-deserved award and then pass it on. I am honored. Thank you so much!

You are so sweet - and if your blog just doesn't have the best atmosphere. I may just sit here and hang out for the rest of the afternoon.

Nice does matter. Here's a Dr. Pepper toast among those who recognize the fact.

Love and hugs.

Thank you, Karen. I looked right past it yesterday morning while doing a hurried check of my favorite 2 or 3 blogs, yours is one! Anyway I didn't even see my name there. I love the variety you write about. I love hearing about Hong Kong, seeing your home, and your art.
