Today Cielo from The House In The Roses is hosting a World Treasures Party. Thank you Cielo, you always host such wonderful parties filled with bloggers from around the world.
I chose my Santa collection to share with you today. Everyone knows I love Santas and I have received such special ones from friends and family over the years. My sister Susan has made some Santa designs too. I have collected Santas from everywhere, and each year floods of beautiful memories resurface as I decorate for the holidays.
Instead of describing each Santa, I will simply share the photographs of my Santas.
Finally one really special Santa story. When we were living in Hong Kong, my mother bought a beautiful Christmas Santa chess set in a store called Siebu. The store was Japanese and had the most gorgeous gifts at Christmas. In one of their showcases from America was this lovely chess set. My mother gave it to me the first Christmas we spent in Hong Kong.
I have cherished it all these years, but to my surprise when we moved here, the company Villaincourt was nearby. I visited them one day and was thrilled to learn that Judy Villaincourt had designed this chalkware treasure and has since retired it to her museum. It is a small world after all.
I guess you could say I have Santa love.
Now if you CLICK HERE, you will visit Cielo, you will discover people from all over the world sharing their world treasures. The song for this post is It's Christmas all over the world.
From the North Pole to the Southern tip, I hope the spirit of Santa fills your home with the gifts of joy and peace for this holiday season.
