oday is
Mosaic Monday, and
Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
y Grandma was one of the cutest babies. She made the best apple pie, and a great cup of coffee.
She had a bluebird named Michael and we used to watch Lawrence Welk and listen to the Lennon Sisters on television.
The song for this post is sung by the Lennon Sisters, and one of
My Favorite Things was always sitting with a cup of tea with Grandma. If she was still alive today, we would be chatting away about how I used Photoshop to dress up her photo. She was a very cool lady.
If there is a bit of blue in the sky today, Grandma always said that if there was enough blue in the sky to make a pair of pants, it was going to be a nice day. Wishing you a very nice day filled with blue skies.
Oh Karen what a sweet mosaic post. She sounds like a very special lady. Warmly Sharon
I really like this mosaic post. Your grandma sounds very wise. I like her saying about the sky and the pants. that is very cool and so is your photo and mosaic. I love it.
You did such a nice job making your grandmother more familiar to you. Love it! And I love that optimistic quote! Have a great start of the week
What a beautiful tribute to your grandma, Karen! She was indeed a lovely baby and your embellishments would have made her smile! Happy Monday, Anita

Karen, your grandmother was precious. (What a beautiful baby face!) Lawrence Welk and the Lennon Sisters were a big part of my childhood too. My grandmother lived with us, and we probably didn't miss a single L.W. episode. Love what you did with the photos and mosaics. And I REALLY love the package of fall goodies I received in the mail today. You are so sweet. My order was not big enough for you to include extras, and what wonderful extras you included! I especially love that I have a pumpkin drawing on a card with a note from you inside. When you become famous, my card with a personal note will be very valuable! Thank you so much for being such a kind and generous person. I'm so glad to have found you in this big Blogging world! laurie
Karen what a gorgeous mosaic of one special lady in your life. So cute!!

Karen you have truly touched my heart today. Your post reminded me so much of the times I used to spend with my grandmother. Grandmother's are just the best aren't they? Karen, I can tell your grandmother was my kind of lady. She had a very cool granddaughter, too.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Now she was the cutest little thing I've ever seen. Looks just like the cuties you get on the dvd's doesn't she? I just love visiting your blog and Thanks for following along on mine! I used to think old Lawrence was the bomb! I'm pretty old myself you know and I think that's where I got my real love of dancing. Hugs, Mollye

Lovely mosaic. I really love the music too. I remember watching the Lennon sisters on TV.
Hello Karen, I have been out of town and am trying to catch up with my blogging friends. Your post is adorable. You are right, your grandmother was such a beautiful baby. I love your mosaic and the sweet additions you made to have a wonderful memory come into your thoughts.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
Karen~ YOU are a very cool lady. Your Grandma would be proud! My Serendipity prints(s) arrived today and I am thrilled beyond words. When I made the purchase, it was intended to be a gift for a good friend, but (in my mind) I reserved the right to keep it for myself if it was as lovely as it appeared to be. Now I can give it as the gift, as planned, AND I get to keep one for myself....PLUS I now have one of your "Grandma cards"...what a blessed day!
Hugs!
Kimberly
