Mosaic Monday

grandma

oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.

grandma

y Grandma was one of the cutest babies. She made the best apple pie, and a great cup of coffee.

She had a bluebird named Michael and we used to watch Lawrence Welk and listen to the Lennon Sisters on television.

grandma-with-pie-and-coffeeThe song for this post is sung by the Lennon Sisters, and one of My Favorite Things was always sitting with a cup of tea with Grandma. If she was still alive today, we would be chatting away about how I used Photoshop to dress up her photo. She was a very cool lady.

grandma-with-many-layers-and-ribbonsIf there is a bit of blue in the sky today, Grandma always said that if there was enough blue in the sky to make a pair of pants, it was going to be a nice day. Wishing you a very nice day filled with blue skies.

Karen, your grandmother was precious. (What a beautiful baby face!) Lawrence Welk and the Lennon Sisters were a big part of my childhood too. My grandmother lived with us, and we probably didn't miss a single L.W. episode. Love what you did with the photos and mosaics. And I REALLY love the package of fall goodies I received in the mail today. You are so sweet. My order was not big enough for you to include extras, and what wonderful extras you included! I especially love that I have a pumpkin drawing on a card with a note from you inside. When you become famous, my card with a personal note will be very valuable! Thank you so much for being such a kind and generous person. I'm so glad to have found you in this big Blogging world! laurie

Karen~ YOU are a very cool lady. Your Grandma would be proud! My Serendipity prints(s) arrived today and I am thrilled beyond words. When I made the purchase, it was intended to be a gift for a good friend, but (in my mind) I reserved the right to keep it for myself if it was as lovely as it appeared to be. Now I can give it as the gift, as planned, AND I get to keep one for myself....PLUS I now have one of your "Grandma cards"...what a blessed day!

Hugs!
Kimberly
