There are places in the Land of Blog where as soon as you land there, you feel like you are home.
Reminders of simple but joyful things, like a gorgeous pin cushion looking cozy and cute in her bright and vibrant patterns.
When I saw the amazing pin cushions that Betty from She's Sew Pretty sews, I knew it would make the perfect gift.
Betty creates these, and her recent ones just stole my heart. like toadstools,
and cupcakes.
So when I saw this in the little window in her shop, I had to order it for my sister.
My sister Lynne, loves to bake and is an amazing seamstress.
Her blog is filled with all of those little treasures and reminders of cozy corners and the joy of home.

Thank you so much Betty, this little shop makes me happy. I know that my sister is going to love her new pin cushion. I know I love mine. It is such a generous one too, how clever because those little ones don't sit as nicely as these do...ready to hold pins and needles to make it easier to sew something pretty.

Betty is a sweet lady!! I love the pin cushions, and I had to laugh at the toadstools. We have come a way since the tomatoes and strawberries.
I may be visiting Betty soon. Yesterday I bought a sewing machine and now I will begin to teach myself, best that I can, how to sew on a machine. It is something I have wanted to do for so long...Maybe it isn't climbing a mountain or hiking the Grand Canyon, but I want to realize this and many more dreams. Wish me luck, Karen!

Oh Karen! That was wonderful! Thank you so much for featuring my pincushions. I am so happy that you like them. It is too funny about the bird. I had put him in the wrapped pincushion the exact same way you did but then could not fit him in the box like that. Now, I come here and there he is perched on the pincushion. You'll have to restuff that scarf and put him back. He seems to like it there. Have a wonderful day!! Happy Sewing!!

Oh I know Iknow. I too own one of her creations and use it EVERY day! They are the cutest things! It is so funny that you did this because I was all over her site and Beths Bags yesterday planning on posting about them also. Gift giving must be in the air and these make great ones!

the pincushions are sweet! i love the one with the red florals and polka dots. you can just see the care and fun put into each one. love the little bluebird card, too!
