Mosaic Monday

oday is Mosaic Monday, and Mary from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.
How do you capture a SNOWFLAKE...One that is large enough for you to see all of it's wonder?
You can memorize it as you admire the flakes floating down inside nature’s snow globe,
You can try to catch it on your mitten,
You can catch it in your bare hand...before it melts,
Or you can capture it on your doggie who is out for a play,
You can catch it on your tongue before it falls to the ground,
Or make a snowball and take a bite of it's wonder,
You can build a snowman
and watch the snowflakes twinkle in the moonlight,
You can capture it on your shovel, until you have about a thousand collected in a pile,
Or you can catch it on your camera lens to save forever,
You can make a snow fort and capture them in nice blocks of snow,
Or lie down next to your doggie and children and share the adventure of making snow angels,
Well, its only a matter of time now before we are in the middle of a snow storm.
I love snow, and I am so glad that we live in New England.
The song for this post is The Snowman's Music Box. Happy Mosaic Monday.
Such a magical range of snowy images! And love how you isolate each one in the mosaic and offer a bright comment!
Such a gorgeous dusting of snow! Beautiful mosaic!
Beautiful pictures and mosaics of snow. Wonderful
Well, looks like you're getting 'zinged' just like the northwest! Love all your photos and your mosaic.
Maybe one day I'll enjoy a white snowy Christmas. Not while I'm living in Brazil I guess!
Lovely mosaic!
New England is where I first saw snow; I learned how to drive a standard shift in the snow AND those interesting round-abouts! I skated on my first little frozen pond in Rockport and now, snow is a part of my life here in Minneapolis....such beauty from heaven about. Love to you today Karen, Anita
Beautiful snowy images...my favorite kind...
such wondrous photos of snow! I love looking at snow - especially in pictures. Actually, being IN the stuff and having to move it to somewhere else, not so much. ;-)
I think Mondays are my favorite day to visit you. You mosaics are always so beautiful. I remember trying to catch snowflakes on my tongue as a child...
I love snow too. We only get small amounts here in NC.
Hugs,
Penny
Your pictures are so beautiful, I'm sure each and every one of those snowflakes are just devine.
It don't snow here much, its a rare thing and when it does its not much.
Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful photos of your winter holiday.
Merry Christmas and May God Bless you,
XXOO Marie Antionette
Someday I am going to see a White Christmas, but in the mean time, I loved seeing it through your lens and creativity!
Jody says, "Hi!"
XO,
Sheila :-)
I love looking at the snow. Snow is something that doesn't happen much down here. It's sure pretty to look at -- thanks!
Oh my...I'm so glad I found your blog. I LOVE snow and alas we do not have as much in my part of the world....I think I'll leave your blog open and take it all in throughout this busy day...just the most perfect thing to sooth my soul as I work hard on some Christmas projects. Hope you have a grand day! Lovely to meet you!
Thanks so much for this wonderful wintry post. Those of us who live in Southern California miss this part of the holiday season for sure. Love the delightful way you told an illustrated story ... love the little doggie in the snow too and the little girl in red is adorable!
Hugs and blessings,
My Mosaic Monday
Nice snowy images indeed.
My mosaic
We had a little snow but now it's raining, washing it all away. Hopefully we will get more before Christmas. I still catch snowflakes on my tongue when no-one is looking:>)
