Summer Street leads to pretty days on the Cape. 
I love shopping...
Especially in the little town of Sandwich...
Admiring all the cottages along the way...
Sandwich has one of the quaintest little villages...
sitting at the beach...
and sketching what I see there.
Just kidding, I found the link to this Fun photo effects on PhotoFunia from Karen's recent post.
All kidding aside, I did find the most remarkable sketchbook in my favorite old book shop.
Cape Cod Sketches by Jack Frost, published in 1939. Inside book, which was signed by the author, was a map and newspaper clippings about the anniversary of the book being published.
If you would like to see the sketches and the actual places, I found a wonderful site that walks you through his sketches.
Whether the images are found on a sketchpad, through someone's lovely artwork, or in photographs...Cape Cod is always filled with inspiration,
especially during Those Lazy Hazy Days of Summer.

Karen, I would give anything if I were right there with you, shopping those wonderful shops and seeing all the cute New England cottages. I adore cottages, and that was my favorite thing about New England, particularly Edgartown. That and the beautiful flowers everywhere.

Sandwich looks like such a beautiful place! I could just sit on that beach for hours I think. The book is beautiful! You find the loveliest book treasures ever:>)
