Hong Kong Wash Pink

Sooooooooo here's what happens...

Spoonflower announces a new contest.

Hong Kong KimonoI take the theme, like Windows and Doors,

Hong Kong Kimonoand I begin to design.

Hong Kong KimonoThen one thing,

Hong Kong Kimonoleads to another,

Hong Kong Kimonoand another,

Hong Kong Kimonoand another...

Hong Kong KimonoThen I end up with so many designs,

Hong Kong Kimonothat I hardly know which one to enter.

Hong Kong KimonoThen I remember a valuable lesson...

Hong Kong KimonoIt really doesn't matter if you win or not,

Hong Kong Kimonowhen you are in love with the process,

Hong Kong Kimonoof creation.

Let me always remember that it is not important to win awards
and accolades.  But rather to feel the joy of sharing the gifts
given to me by the Grace of God to honor Him, the Great Creator.

What a gorgeous theme in life to always remember God in all that we do.  Songs I first heard when I lived in Hong Kong made me fall in love with the music.  The song for this post is a Gorgeous Theme.

Hong Kong KimonoPlease take home any image that you might like to use, as my gift.  The name of this design is Happy Hong Kong Washline.  I wanted the design to make you feel the happiness which I found while living in Hong Kong...among the people, the places, and the music.

How bright and cheerful. I love the clothes on the line and the vivid colors. I know nothing of Hong Kong, but perhaps I'd recognize it having seen your artwork. Love that quote! It fits you to a tee!

Hi Karen,

What beautiful images you have shown today ~ thank you for your kindness and showing us all this beauty.
I was amazed at the washing lines in HongKong, all the clothes were hanging out the windows and on the decks. I had not seen anything like it.

Have a happy weekend
Hugs

Happy Pink Saturday Karen Sweetie...
Oh my goodness what a beautiful post you have today. I love your creations. It looks like you have put all your laundry out on the line.

Sort of how we do with our faith, we put our hearts out there, and know through faith that God is going to wash it and clean it, and make it all new again.

Oh Karen I love this share. You will always ne a winner in my book. Thank you for sharing with us first.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

Hi karen, I'm back to visiting in blogland. And I am a happy blogger once again. This summer has been a trial to keep blogging and responding to my visitors. Now I am home with nothing on the calendar until October.

I adore your process and the result of this work of art for a contest. Everything is lovely and I can see a happy memory for you. My fave is the window with the geraniums. Gorgeous!!!

Keep on creating Karen and we can all share your lovely works of art.

Have a wonderful day and happy PS.
Hugs, Jeanne
