I just love Vintage, hey wait a minute it's no wonder...I am Vintage!!!

Today is Mosaic Monday, and Mary  from Little Red House, is hosting this lovely day.   So make sure you stop by and see all the lovely mosaics for Monday's posts.

My creation

My favorite Vintage creations are digital designs,

My creation

and creating vignettes around the house to celebrate old books, and Vintage trinkets.

Whether I am creating digital paintings from old photos of my Grandmother or Great Aunt Adelaide,

using lovely nautical photos to create digital collages, or adding a bit of beeswax to my ingredients to create a mixed-media creation...I just love Vintage.

Destination...Serendipity

Not only do I love creating prints, and mixed media pieces, but I love designing fabrics using Vintage and images, especially  French script and old envelopes with French postage.

KAREN! Oh first of all, my teaching job is ridiculously over-loaded this year. Fifty kids, I now teach English as well, and just too much paper work that is stupid. Teeeheheeee! Sorry! But I guess all this busy work is part of the mess society has created; I just feel bad for the children who miss out on having a teacher that can attend to their little souls....we are all too stressed out and TIRED! I meant to email you last night but after catching up on my post and comments, I just HAD TO TURN IN...without my routine tea. I MUST TELL YOU THAT I WENT TO THE POST OFFICE, brought home a sweet package and took it upstairs for some quiet. I opened it up and I literally had to take an extra breath. It is perfect. The birds, the little crown, the script...it is all perfect. Dearest, this size script, THIS EXACT measurement and flow of the design is what I want more of. Please, keep these measurements...can you? Because I will be ordering more. I have two chairs I want to upholster, and it isn't much fabric. But I need to take the measurements for one chair and get the estimate for the labor. Is it possible to reserve the measurements in Spoonflower? Anyhow, after your hard work and OBSERVATION, I have a perfect swatch. This weekend, I am doing my HARP BENCH....thank you also for coming to visit me. Do you like MR. SANDMAN? Did you see THE TEA RAT BELOW my playlist, dancing to the tune? And my illustrations are actually done in those watercolour pencils. I love them.

Dearest, thanks again; you are a charm, a great artist and of course, an INSPIRATION!

Bisous, Anita

Oh, my. This is just a treat for the eyes. I am so impressed with your digital work and your Spoonflower Fabrics. I always say I can't lean to do Photoshop because I am too old. My daughter gave me Photoshop Elements for my birthday and I still don't quite catch on. Someday I hope I can overcome this because it really opens the door to a lot of new creations.

Your regular photos are fantastic, as well!

Good morning Karen
I haven't been to visit for quite awhile, so I'm spending quite a bit of time reading the posts I've missed. Just want to let you know too that I cherish the lovely Quilting Diva card you made for me and have it in a spot where I can look at it every day.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Hugs, Rondi
