Spiritual Sunday

Yesterday always reminds me of the people who flocked to church right after 911.  There were traffic jams for the first time on Sundays.

The Keeper of the Faith.  It always seems easier for me to give time to the Lord when I am in the middle of adversity.

Let me remember when the skies are blue and all is well, that this too is a time to spend time alone with the Lord.  He wants to spend time alone with us, and it is because He wants to bless our lives.

Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water."
John 4:9-11
The song for this post is The Keeper of the Faith.

I am linking to lovely Spiritual Sunday today, hosted by Charlotte and Ginger.

Such a good reflection. So many things happened after 9-11 that were positive... renewed faith, renewed patriotism, caring for others. God must have been so pleased. Where is that spirit in America today?

I remember, too, how many people grew more spiritual after 9/11/01. I’m sure God rejoiced in the hearts that turned to him. Your point is such a good one – may we all continue to seek him in the good times like we do in the bad times.

We need Him all the time and He needs us, too. Beautiful photography, Karen. I want to float away on those clouds...

Beautiful posting Karen, I also remember going to church that first Sunday, and could hardly find a place to sit.
I was blessed by your thoughts, and beautiful photos, thank you for sharing.

I told my husband that I want my prayers to be full of passion daily not just when I'm in need. This post touch my heart today.
God Bless,

I echo your thoughts. May we find a closer walk with God in our trials and our celebrations.
