Welcome Pink Saturday Dearies. Now watch your step as we pass by the hat shop on Delancy Street. I heard a story about a spider named Henrietta...
nce upon a time on Halloween's Eve...
Henrietta Spider sat down beside her,
and stepped up onto the hat embellished for Halloween,
She sat in the window on display, looking stylish but hardly wanted to be seen.
She dreamed instead of celebrating the holiday wearing something dreamy, preferably in aquamarine!
Later that day a customer bought the hat and dashed away feathers, spiders and all,
When Henrietta got to her home, she read the invite and learned they were going to a ball, the invitation said...
Please come to Pink Saturday's Halloween,
Bev's Place at How Sweet The Sound.
PLEASE VISIT US AT HOW SWEET THE SOUND
Henrietta sighed she needed to look amazing, and she didn’t have time to go to the mall,
So, she jumped down from the hat and began to spin the dreamiest aquamarine shawl.
When it was done she fixed her hair, draped her new shawl and sat down beside her,
and stepped up onto the hat embellished for Halloween.
Everyone was excited to go to the party and have their costumes seen!
Well, we must all join Henrietta Spider and rush to meet all the guests that have written lovely Halloween posts for Pink Saturday, on this Halloween.
Please stop by over at Bev's place and enjoy Pink Saturday and a bit of Halloween fun.
Oh, before you go, if any of you would like to find the perfect Pink costume for a Pink Halloween, be sure to visit Jeanne from BACKYARD NEIGHBOR!
Do you like to listen to the Monster Mash? Well, stop by and visit Sherry, from Country Wings. She has outdone herself with a very wonderful Halloween post blinking and singing and celebrating as always!
The song for this post is Creepy Castle.

Fun post and Henrietta certainly did look smashing...oh dear, should I say that about a spider?
A delightful read... Henrietta certainly looks ready for the party. Now I want to know who is that blond?
Karen,
Henrietta is adorable and I am guessing you created her. I think she should be a book!
Hugs,
Suz
HOY COW THAT WAS FABULOUS! Karen, you are full of surprises.....THAT CASTLE....WHERE IS THAT CASTLE...I love it in the silhouette form. Ahhhhh, that was utterly fashionable and fantastic! HAVE A GREAT, GREAT DAY! Anita
Sarah does have the most beautiful blond hair! How fun that she was willing to participate! Good heavens! I've already posted twice without saying the same thing on the same post? (I amaze myself.) Commenting is an interesting thing in Blogdom lately. ;>
I was wondering who that GORGEOUS head of hair belonged to! WOW...your girl was blessed with spectacular locks!!
Henrietta's little Halloween tale was wonderful!! I'm so glad she was able to create her aquamarine shawl in time for Beverly's Pink Saturday Gala!!! She looks spectacular!
Thanks so much for another creative post....I hope you and yours have a boooooo-tiful Halloween and a spectacular Pink Saturday!! L, Dana

booooooooo
Great post!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Happy Pink Halloween Karen Sweetie...
How sweet is this post. I love Henrietta the spider. She looked beautiful before but when she spun her aquamarine, well she definitely had to be the smash of the party. You are so clever and I so enjoyed coming by today. Thank you for visiting as well, and for mentioning Country Wings in Phoenix. I always have so much fun when I write.
Hope you have a spoo-tacular Halloween and eat a little candy for me would you? My blood sugars have been to high of late, so I am leaving all sweets alone for now. We decided not to participate in Halloween this year because of that. We aren't going to be bringing any candy into this house.
Have a wonderful weekend sweetie. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
