Hi Karen, I just posted my Pink Saturday too. One of my favorite places in the whole world is the beach! My hubby grew up on the beach and so it is just natural that we spend as much time as possible there in the Summer. I miss it so much this time of year and of course once the Winter sets in I'll be dreaming of the warm sand between my toes and the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. Your photos are gorgeous and I so enjoyed looking at them! Thank you for sharing, enjoy your walk on the beach this weekend and have a lovely Pink Saturday.
Beautiful pictures and mosaic! My best memories were walking along the strand in California with my beau! It was a beautiful night and the memory never fades.
Oh Karen, I think I am in beach heaven. I love the water, any water and all the smells that go along with it. What beautiful photos you are showing us this week. I can feel the sand in my toes. Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Good evening dearest Karen! I haven't seen you post for a while; I hope all is well. My favorite beach side memories are in BEVERLY, MASS. when we lived right across from Beverly COve. I would come home from work, and my husband and I would walk along the beach and hunt for beach glass. I have an awesome collection and those were such fun times. We lived there for two years.
Such a beautiful blog you have here. Love the whole design of it... from the great images you post to the header with the air balloon effect. Just lovely :) Paris in Pink
Love the song - I haven't heard it in years. Love, love love the beach and I miss going since I don't live as close as I used too. Happy Pink Saturday! :)Nancy
Oh Karen those were just beautiful photos and I love the stars you placed on the gorgeous beach scene! I have only ever lived near one body of water and that was the St. Laurence Seaway in Montreal. As a child I grew to love watching the cargo ships from around the world traveling past each day and when they docked we kids would hang around the stores where the seamen shopped to hear all the strange new languages they spoke. Great memories! Tina xo
Dearest Karen, WELCOME HOME! And you went to your dear friend's wedding; how lovely that is to be able to visit and be there for such a joyous occasion! BRAVO! And I can just imagine how lovely your autumn is right now! Our weather is starting to chill a bit and I love it. Leaves blowing, golden colors taking over the landscape and the need to but a duvet on the bed now is so inviting. Thank you for visiting and for your lovely comments, as always dear friend. Enjoy your New England autumn day, Anita
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY, KAREN. Sadly, I have NEVER walked on a boardwalk....maybe one day I will!!! Your PINK beach photos are wonderful!!! I hope your weekend is, too!! L, Dana
I love the beach, too, and I spent most of my life within a very short drive. I miss everything about it, but we can still be there in about two hours.
I loved reading Sandi's testament about winning your Miracle painting. And, good for you to reconnect to your painting. God clearly works through your talent.
