Bonjour BunnyLast week I took a wonderful class on layering with Kim Klassen.

Bonjour BunnyI just couldn't wait to create my own backgrounds,

it's time for tea

Bonjour Bunnyand so I did...

Bonjour BunnyThen I layered some Bonjour artwork.

bonjour with my french background

Bonjour BunnyI was creating new layer backgrounds and thinking about this process.

Bonjour BunnyI was working on something for my lovely friend, Amisha's  party

Bonjour BunnySomething we all do as we go on our way through life.

Bonjour BunnyLayering each new skill, experience and creativity layer by layer.

bonjour bunnies

Bonjour BunnyUntil one day we don't know how it happened...but we know how to do lots of things and we fly from one thing to another.

birds on a line with blue background and Picnik hearts

Bonjour BunnySuddenly our skills have multiplied and we want to layer them all together to play our new song.

Sing

Bonjour BunnyThat's it,

that's why I adore digital painting.

It allows me to write a new song with the things that I am learning

and use my artwork from chapters gone by...

layering them together into one brand new design allowing me to dance to my new music.

write your own music, and dance to your song

Bonjour BunnyToday is Pink Saturday and if you stop by Bev's place over at How Sweet The Sound, you will find many Pink inspirations to layer into your life.

Please come back on Sunday, I have something special to share for my friend Amisha's Being Creative Blog Party.

Bonjour Bunny

The song for this post is music from the soundtrack of Miss Potter.

P.S.  My Pink Saturday mention is my friend Amisha of Gorgeous and Fun.   I just adore her work and I have the pleasure of not only participating in Pink Saturday with her, but we have art get-togethers and occasionally attend the same classes.

Wishing a lovely Pink Saturday friend, Celeste of Celestina Marie Designs.
 a Happy Birthday.

If any of the artwork on this post speaks to your heart, please take it home.

I love Beatrix Potter and the soundtrack! And I love what you've done here! The layering is so pretty and creative!
I was wondering if I may use the teacup photo for one of my tea parties one of these days? I also would love to post a photo or two of your work on my sidebar; linking back to you, of course!
I wanted to thank you for your prayers for my little granddaughter. It means so much to me! Thank you for your visit and Happy Pink Saturday.

Digital layering is such an awesome invention. I don't have the software that would let me do that, but it sure looks like fun! Of course, YOU make it amazing because you have add your artistic talent to the digital images.

Hope all is well with you......your bunny is still one of my favorites!

Happy Pink Saturday! L, Dana

Hi Karen,

I wanted to take some of Kim's classes but so far they are all video driven instead of screen shots. Sadly, my 3G connection will not play most video smoothly.
So I continue to play with my photography.

I love what you've learned..just lovely {as always} ♥

Happy Pink!
Have a wonderful week...

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥
