With all the interest in Vintage clothing,

I was wishing that I had saved some of my dressesfrom Once Upon A Time days.

Then I had an idea about illustrating my old dresses...
and calling it my My Vintage Runway.
Back in the sixties and early seventies
we enjoyed lovely evening dresses.

There was the prom dress of course,
and dressing up for the countless weddings I attended.
Then there were so many lovely bridesmaid dresses too.
I hope that you enjoyed my Vintage Runway.
I'll be sharing more over time.
The song for this post is the delightful Mary Pickford.P.S. If you would like to purchase the home of Mary Pickford and
Douglas Fairbanks Sr...
it's for sale...
You can view Pickfair, it's only $60 Million Dollars.

Gorgeous dress! I love your runway show.
I don't think I need another house...but I love this beautiful gowns! Hugs! ♥
Delightful, Karen! :-)
Only... Well I do remember reading about Pickfair via an autobiography Mary wrote...I think. She sure was a pretty lady for many many years.
You didn't save any of your pretty dresses? Oh dear. At least you can conjure them up in these wonderful drawings. I didn't have the princess kind of dresses. I had the country gal kind of dresses...gingham and such. Sigh. I'd like to have had the prettier kind and I've always secretly wanted a velvet dress. T'ain't too likely at this point in my life. :D
I have always wished I had some place to wear a dress like one of these. Why isn't there a good reason to dress up anymore?! Still, it's fun dreaming isn't it?
Hello Karen,
You are going to laugh at me...but I never liked dresses or gowns...I do not wear them or own any...LOL!
But...I have to say that I really, really liked what you did with them.
Love the mix of techniques in your drawings and colours you used.
You are definitely a great designer!
