Shabby Chic Inspiration

Some pale pink for a Pink Saturday.   I have been working on my Guest Room.

I designed a new fabric

Shabby Chic Roses in a Pink Garden
CLICK ON THE DESIGN TO SEE THE FABRIC ON MY SPOONFLOWER

I call it Shabby Chic Roses in a Pink Garden.

I have had it printed on a Cotton Voile fabric at Spoonflower.

I would like to make some curtains, and I'm thinking that it would look nice over the white dotted swiss curtains.

Today is Pink Saturday and Bev, from How Sweet The Sound is hosting, so stop by and read all the pink posts.

My sister Lynne makes the most gorgeous pillows.  The pillow shown on my bed is designed by Lynne.

Heaven, I'm in heaven while I am designing.  So, I thought a little Ginger Rogers would be nice for this post.  Now where is Fred?

While I was designing, I also created a new business card for French Script Fabrics on etsy.

That is a beautiful design on your rose covered fabric. I love how the single swirl through the rose actually creates it. You must describe it for us, Karen. I'm sure that I am missing so much of the detail from pure ignorance. Your sister's pillow is fabulous. The entire room is fabulous.

KAREN!

Oh my dear friend, THANK YOU for coming and for peeking at my gallery. I am hoping to have more photos and to actually open up my Etsy soon before the holidays. With teaching however, the weekends are the only time I can organize myself, so taking pictures of the things I will be making is tricky. I have to think about the kind of paper I will use for my cards and tags and then start taking the photos. AND NOW THAT I FINALLY HAVE PAYPAL, I want to later get myself started with Spoonflower. I SEE THAT you have another blog set up to showcase your fabulous French script fabrics. WONDERFUL!

Thank you for your kindnesses and sweet friendship, Karen!

ENJOY THE FALL WEEKEND! Lovingly, Anita

You know I love all of your designs, and this new design is definitely one to love. Your guest room is so pretty. I adore dotted swiss.

Does your sister sell her pillows?
