Recipes, Tea, Bluebirds and Butterflies

This week's fabric challenge on Spoonflower Fabrics is for us to come up with a design including a recipe for the contest.

As I mentioned on yesterday's post, I had a long "To Do List'.  I did get to take down the tree and put the ornaments away.  And I did get to design this week's fabric.

For the Recipe part, I chose my favorite tea cookie recipe, and I added my favorite teapot,

My bluebird was happy to sit still while I added a few butterflies.

The design I submitted I call A RECIPE FOR TEA KISSES.

Stop by Spoonflower's Blog, and see all the recipes for this week's fabric contest and cast your vote for your favorite.  I added my design to my Mom's Bluebird and Teapot Collection.

Oh, yeah, and one other thing on yesterday's "To Do List", I wanted to find something PINK for Pink Saturday.

Today is Pink Saturday and there will be lots more Pink over a Bev's from How Sweet The Sound.  The song for this post is Tea for Two.

Wishing you a Happy Pink Saturday, and a very Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Karen, and a very happy Pink Saturday, too!

Your recipe design is awesome....you always come up with the best creations!!

I enjoyed catching up on your previous posts, too. I've been so crazy busy preparing for Christmas and the new gr. baby, that my blogging has taken a major nose dive. I secretly felt a little better reading your post where you suggested you too had let things slid a bit. I haven't taken down my Christmas decor cuz I usually wait til after New Year's Day....mainly cuz I don't get through putting it out until very near Christmas. It's only after Christmas that I have the time to really enjoy it.

Yes, we did have a very Grand Christmas this year. I'm so happy the baby arrived healthy and his momma did well, too. I had a great time caring for the other two grands, but they pooped me out! It was nice to hand 'em back over yesterday, but I have to say, I really miss the noise they bring to the house...well MOST of the noise! :)

I wish you a really great New Year, Karen....one filled with good health and lots of happiness.

Oh Karen, what a lovely post; bluebirds are my favorite and will be a new item in my Etsy shop. I have been having fun with paper mâché and have already sold a few! But tea, bluebirds and good recipes? How good can it get!

My sweet friend, you have been on this blogging journey since I started four years ago. You have always given me wise advice that has helped me immensely. THANK YOU FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP MOST OF ALL!

Peace and much love in the new year! Anita
