I have been enjoying playing around with Kim Klassen's textures. These were taken from her Ultimate collection.
I took this photograph in Sandwich, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. There is a place where the long boardwalk borders the golden grasses, provoking daydreams.
The ocean is just beyond the gate, keep climbing. |
Otherwise, you can meet me at the beach.
The song for this post is one of my favorites.
I Will, sung by Ben Taylor.
The beach is as special on a winter's day as it is in summer. |
Hi Karen, Just wanted to stop in and say "hi". Love this post and your photo and various textures. Looking forward to collaborating at Focused on Life. Terri
I think they're all great - couldn't possibly pick a favourite! Great use of textures.
Love the composition where the board walk drops off into infinity. The textures dress it up beautifully. V
Keep Climbing, You're Almost There! Ohhh, I love that! You used the textures so well for this because each one is like a little dream or a big one. I can almost smell the ocean and the grasses...
Hello Karen,
Love this! And...I can see it in a huge canvas...on a wall.
Gabriela
Dear Karen,
I wish you a fabulous new year of creating more of these magnificent mosaics and other collages of your perspective on life. PEACE AND BLESSINGS FOR THE NEW YEAR! Anita
I feel like you are doing this post for me! Just beautiful...and just what I love! I posted a heart that I found on the beach today. The little dish I put it in looks like a design you would like. Enjoy your week, my friend!
Would that I could!!!!!
I'm going to start a mosaic now so I will be ready NEXT Monday!
Love the textures.
There is such an ethereal, dreamy quality to these photos.
