Valentine Inspiration

ell, if you are like me, you have a stash of old magazines that you pull out for seasonal inspiration.

As for me, my stash of Home Companion Magazine is one of my favorites.  Romantic Homes is also lovely Valentine inspiration.

I created an inspiration board for you on Pinterest for Valentine Inspiration.  I called the board Valentine's Day.  Don't you just love Pinterest?

Oh, and thanks to my friend Snap at Tales from Twisty Lane, I learned that Natasha from Five Minutes Just for Me, has created a weekly Pinterest Party called PINNING AND SINGING.

My Valentine inspiration began really, when I received my Willard Newsletter from Susan Branch.  If you don't already receive it, you can stop by her blog and sign up for Willard.  She has the cutest Valentine surprises in her shop.

ell, I have been painting little Valentine vignettes ever since I read her newsletter.

I found some dreamy Valentine's Day Brunch inspiration on a blog called Zsa Zsa Bellagio.

Sting, sigh...I love everything that he sings, but this song is the dreamiest.  Perfectly romantic for a Valentine inspiration.

Happy Friday and Happy Pink Saturday.  Stop by Bev's place at How Sweet The Sound to read all about it, Pink of course!

One can never have too many inspiration boards.  I added more pinks to my Pink Saturday Inspiration.

P.S.  I got some lovely news.  Last week there was a fabric contest on Spoonflower for coordinate fabrics.  I never asked for a single vote, and guess what?  I got 241 votes.  Someday I am going to be in the top ten, just you wait and see.  Here is my fabric design, which I called A Shabby Chic Collection.

OK Karen I have had an inspiration moment. Suzy Blu has just opened her Gypsy Art School. I figured it would out West somewhere like everyone else but guess what? She is in Spotswood New Jersey! We so need an artsy field trip! I would love to take one of her face workshops. What do you think? Let's be crazy!
