A Cottage by the sea

Last year I was at an art fair and found this wonderful little shell journal filled with watercolor papers.

It was made of real shells for the cover and stitched so perfectly.

Thank you Anita, she gave me this lovely shell tag and beautiful note in her gorgeous calligraphy.  The quote was so dreamy and perfect for my little daydream.

I have been filling the journal with little paintings.  Last year I sat in the gardens of Heritage Gardens in Sandwich on the Cape.  I painted the little cottage in this tiny journal.

I dream of having a little cottage by the sea some day.  And in case you do too, I created a little artwork for you.

You know the best part of daydreams?  They decorate your day. Sigh, a little music to daydream by, Fly Me To The Moon, sung by Diana Krall.

Bev, from How Sweet The Sound is hosting Pink Saturday, stop by and be inspired by all the pink posts.

Take time this weekend to daydream.

P.S.  Did you know that Susan Rios has a shop on etsy and sells the loveliest miniatures?  I just bought a little cottage by the sea.

Karen, I'm envious of your little shell journal. What a sweet idea. Love seeing your beautiful watercolor. Have you filled more pages? Thanks for the download and all the quotes. I'm going to add some of these quotes to my own journal. Wish I had your talent to watercolor some of my thoughts. ;-)

OMGOODNESS, you just inspired me!!!! That first image with the satin ribbon and then the beach scenes...KAREN, YOU ARE TRULY A PAGE OF INSPIRATION! And to answer your question about how long it takes to find a photo to go with my words? It works the other way around for me. I peruse the photos, find one that SPEAKS TO ME then I speak for IT. Crazy, but that is how my mind works: BACKWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE! Anita

Good Morning Karen Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and thank you so much for my little cottage by the sea. I can smell the sea air, and feel the warm sand beneath my feet. Oh and I hear the seagulls crying out above me. How wonderful the sunshine feels on my face as I enjoy this beautiful cottage by the sea. Thank you for the wonderful image. I am just tickled pink. It is going by my desk at work.

What a beautiful little journal of love from Anita and Ruben. They are the most precious couple I have ever met. So gifted.

Have a glorious weekend dear friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Karen.

Oh, how my heart longs for a little cottage by the sea. But, those little cottages come with not so little price tags. We've looked, but I'm having a hard time wanting to commit.
