Cape Cod Inspiration

I love watching and listening to the waves hit the shore.

Walking on the boardwalk,

collecting sea glass and shells is a favorite thing for me to do.

I love building castles in the sand, and I love spending time at the beach.

Just some things I brought home with me to share with you.  Since I cannot take you to the beach with me, I thought I would bring the beach to you today.

Today is Mosaic Monday, so please stop by Dear Little Red House, and enjoy Mary's beautiful photography and all the mosaics today.

Lovely Resources:
I purchased some lovely papers for my window view from Sonya on etsy.  I am in love with Sarah Gardner's textures, and Kim Klassen's templates for mosaics.  Have a visit to ScratchCam for your iPhone edits.

Thank you, Karen! The beach is thirty miles away, yet I so seldom get there. Gas prices, other duties...excuses, excuses. I could use a day at the beach. I love that last graphic with its wavy edges of the seashore...perfection. Even the seagulls sound in perfect pitch.

noticed that people tend to be either
beach people or mountain people. i
know which you are!

Thanks for bringing the beach to us. We have a lake not far from home but the sandy beach is very small but nice in the summer.

I also love the beach and collecting shells and sea glass, Karen. The sound so the waves and the cries of the gulls are beautiful music. Happy Mosaic Monday!

Thank you for this beautiful post about the beach today Karen. How I love the beach, the water the waves, looking for treasures, the breezes , the sun the beautiful sights. You posted this for me at the perfect time. As you know my father passed away on Saturday and this post was such a gift. It managed to take my thoughts to a happy place even if it was just for moments. But you managed to help me in the perfect way. Thank you for the many gifts your bring to my life. This is one that I will forever treasure. Sally xxxxx
