Martha's Vineyard Inspiration

I was sitting here tonight listening to the rain outside.  Remembering the beautiful sunny day last week when my friend, Joyce and I took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.

While we were there we visited a wonderful Alpaca Farm called Island Alpaca.

After spending time on Susan Branch's blog, we both longed to be there and experience her lovely town in Vineyard Haven.

Once we got there, we decided to splurge, and rented a little red convertible to tour the island.

There was the drive to Edgartown.

Gingerbread houses to see in Oaks Bluff.

Of course there was plenty of eye candy along the drive.

Then it was time to head home,

and I fell in love with Martha's Vineyard all over again.

Sigh, until next time.

Good morning dearest.

I never had the chance to go to Martha's Vineyard in all the 11 years in New England, but this iconic pink home is part of my memory for I have seen it time and time again with sheer joy.

Have a great day! Anita

Oh, I would love it. I am so glad that the two of you had such a great day, and renting the little convertible was the best idea.

And, that row of gingerbread houses is just too pretty.

Oh darlin -- I can just imagine you two off in that Hot little Red Convert! Wow... what a smart idea.

I suspect these photos are just a small samplings of what is to come. I am looking forward to move.

Always such a great post to lighten and brighten my heart!

Thanks!
Claudia

Wow Karen,

Your comment means a lot to me. I intend THIS SUMMER, to compile my best posts sans photo, and put them in a collection to give to a publisher. However, I am told that anything that has already been "published" on a blog may not be considered for conventional publication!!! I may have to go the self-publishing route, but it is worth looking into. Many thanks and for me,it is only the beginning. MANY HUGS! Anita

What a wonderful blog! Do you mind me asking how you were able to frame your photos so uniquely? I use Photoshop Elements but have never seen this particular way of framing. Thanks, Peggy from Pa bfdgirl@yahoo.com
