French Inspiration

I thought I would write a post just because...

We are in the middle of Hurricane Sandy here in Massachusetts.  There's no telling if we will lose power.

I thought maybe I will give you some pretty French things to see.

I love Paris.

Our family is all hunkered down in different towns, but we'll know better what the power situation might be after tonight.  The storm is supposed to be in full force later tonight.  The winds are already swirling around being scary wind gusts.

They say if we lose power, it might be a few days before we have our power back.

So, while I wait, I'll be painting some new creations.  While I'm gone please feel free to take home any images for your personal use that speak to your Parisian heart.

See you soon.

I hope my little prince sleeps through the storm.

Such a handsome little prince. I'm sure that he'll rest just as easy as mama and papa rest easy. At least, that's been my experience.

Sounds as if you have a plan if the power goes out. They do seem to make comments these days about how long the power will be out if it goes out. I don't recall that being done years ago. Hmmm...

Very sweet pictures, Karen...your little prince gets cuter and cuter (if that's possible) every time you post a picture of him!

Be safe, my friend. We are watching the news non stop and praying for all of you.

XO,
Jane

Oh Karen, the prince is simply gorgeous and we should all do as he does as far as storms go. ;)
I stopped by to check in on you regarding Sandy. I remembered you're way up in the Northeast area. Stay safe and keep us posted when you can.
Much love,
Marcia
