Recipes for Slowing Down

The house was especially quiet this morning,

and I thought of my "To Do" list,

but chose instead just to be quiet for a change.

I'll share what I learned...

Oh, Karen I do love this... I, too, have just taken a "groovy" day to jsut be! Our lives have been so hectic with "have tos" instead of "wish I coulds" so I just declared a day to do only what I want to do, and would you believe it, I actually chose to switch out my summer and winter clothes... but hey, this makes all my tomorrows so much easier... espcially since we've gone from snow last week to 90 today..
hey the weather is trying to catch me!!!!

Some days, slowing down is just the thing.
Wonderful post, Karen!

That was nice, Karen. It's true, too. Sometimes we just need to put the "to do" list aside and just "be."Susan

Boy is this true, Karen! And is that the RIngling House and Museum in Sarasota? That's one of my very favorite places. I remember the first time I saw it as a child.

Loved this.

I enjoyed this post and I'd feel smug about following the advice, too, if I had been intentional about this slowing down as you were.

Thank you Karen. Wise words that I need to take note of and act upon. Great photos to make one do just that!
