It's a funny thing about Grand babies, they make you see life differently. Polka dots always remind me of this song.
Thinking of the Dinosaur theme for last week's contest on Spoonflower, I thought about little RJ.
I never did know much about little boy things because I have two daughters.
Now I see life through my Grandson's eyes,
and he loves his pull toys. So, I used my imagination and my love for him and created this collection called My Favorite Dinosaur Pull Toy.
This was my very last entry for Spoonflower contests. Without going into the details, and after many years of entering the contests, I have lost my joy for doing it. I am going to instead spend my time designing the things that I love.
It's a lovely barometer in life for me to know when to walk away from something. I simply ask myself, is this giving me joy?

This is the cutest collection for little boys I have ever seen! And I have seen a lot of little boy things in the past 7.5 years. =D
It is a gift to know when to walk away. And, presumably, since it is a woman's right, you could return if you ever felt like it.
Enjoy your new venture whatever it might be...
That grandson is the cutest thing!
You certainly saved the best for last. This is too cute. Love the colors!
Karen, I love the patterns and color combination. Darling. Just like your RJ.
I felt the same way when my son was born. I am an only child, and I was such a girlie girl. Then I learned how fun boys are, and then I had a grandson, too.
Hi Karen, I have to say, this is one of your best designs yet! I love it, and little ones really do make us see things differently. I have 2 girls too, and boys are a bit of a mystery to me too. Maybe some day I'll have a little boy who can teach me all about himself. Here's to finding what gives you joy!
