Daffodils, Shepherd's Pie, and Daydreams of Flowerbeds of Pansies

It was such a blustery day today, Shepherd's pie sounded perfect.  At the market I picked up several bundles of Daffodils.  Hoping to paint them later today.

Blustery days always remind me of Winnie the Pooh.

It was so blustery in fact, that Cape Cod and the Islands had Blizzard conditions.  We just had Winnie the Pooh wind.  I quite love the sound of wind gusting outside.

I wanted to also make some vegetable soup, but I'll save that for tomorrow.

Pansies and Daffodils, a reminder that Spring in New England is just around the corner.  I just designed a new Pot of Pansies pillow cover in indoor and outdoor fabrics on my shop Frenchscript on Etsy.

I took a watercolor painting and used it for the pot and added more of my pansies for the bouquet.

Daffodils and Pansies are such happy flowers.

Daffodils and Shepherd's pie, and daydreams of pansies in my flowerbeds.  Enjoying my little Grandguys too.

Ashley and I had another photo day, celebrating Brayden being One Month Old.

How nice to have two little guys to introduce to Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin.

Have a lovely day.

Lovely post, Karen...I love a blustery day...makes me want to stay in and be cozy!

I love your pillow. It's pansy weather here now as they like the cool weather. We just don't know if we'll get snow or frost again.

You have another grandbaby? What a cutie!! I can't wait for the day! :)

Jane

Karen! Your family is growing and you are in the thick of it all....you must be enjoying all the new life: the boys, the daffodils, the colors opening up before you!

Have a super day! Anita

Oh he is adorable...what a great photo shoot!

I have been thinking of making a Shepherd's Pie ever since I read this post last night and knew that, if I left a comment, it would be jibberish. It may still be!

Glad that you escaped the blizzard as did we, but the wind was fierce and I am not a fan of such strong windy days for I am in this great canopy of trees. I should be grateful that some dead limbs did come down.

Enjoy your veggie soup!

I'm not a lover of wind, it cuts right through me, but I love a good thunderstorm! They are both a good reason to nest inside though. I love the pansy pillow! So pretty, and of course your hydrangea pillow, I think that must be my all time favorite.

Karen, I often quote Winnie the Pooh. ;-)
It's been gray and chilly here with a very damp start to our day. Then suddenly around 4 pm, the sun came out and it was up in the 80s. Just never know!
Looks like you are having some great time with the grands.

I am another Pooh lover. And, I shared him with my son and grandson, too.

Your little fellows are adorable, Karen.♥
