 Welcome Fall.  It is such a thrill to see the Autumn leaves changing,

How I love sweater weather.

Thank you for leaving such kind and thoughtful comments on my last post.  I am finally feeling on the mend.  I am learning to manage the pain, and reading and trying different things to help with the knee pain.  I can walk without a cane most days, and thankfully I can still drive, because my right knee is fine.

 I truly have been enjoying capturing all the color outdoors and indoors this season.

I took a drive recently and wanted to capture the Fall leaves against a nearby lake.  Suddenly a group of swans flew into the frame.  It was pure magic...

I hope that you are enjoying beautiful weather and the color of Autumn.

Postcards from Vermont

 I drove to Vermont last weekend to visit my Mom.   Autumn in Vermont is a delightful time of year.

As I drove, I tried to stop and capture the magnificent day for you.

It was one of those glorious Fall days that change from gray skies to blue skies against a backdrop of gorgeous Fall leaves.

 Every now and then the sun highlighted colorful trees on the mountains.

I stopped by this adorable Malt Shop in Stowe.

I brought my book A Fine Romance inside and sat by the fire while they prepared my grilled cheese sandwich and fries.

I listened to oldies as I enjoyed this charming little Malt Shop.  Paul Anka sang Put Your Head on My Shoulders.  

For just a moment I was back dancing with Jimmy Rendall at a Junior High dance. Sigh, he was such a tall, good looking hunk and my first crush.

Then onto memorize some more views before the sun set.

Stowe is a favorite of mine.  Can you believe these views?

Just before sunset, I started on my way for the long drive back to Massachusetts.
