Welcome to Day One of the Virtual Tea Parties

The Table is set for tea, and you will find recipes, poems and links as you browse through the post. The Home Journal magazine post leads into the Tea Parties for Children post and finally Learning About Tea has lots of links and information about tea.

When you are finished having your tea at my place, there are many more virtual teas to visit all week. Stop by Make Mine Pink and you will be escorted right to their doors. Thank you for stopping by.

The song for this post is the song People, a tribute to Barbara Steisand.

Oh, Karen.

I'm so inspired. When my daughter turned 5, we hosted a formal tea party to celebrate. I purchased hats, pearls, and gloves for each girl and set a beautiful table. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Haven't done it since but I'm re-thinking a commitment to tea parties.

What beautiful tablescapes. Thank you for sharing your creativity. What a blessing!
