Words

DSC_0076Words,

DSC_0076I've been thinking about words lately,

words 22

DSC_0076how important they are,

DSC_0076especially words of inspiration.

DSC_0076There have been quotes that I have cherished throughout my life.

DSC_0076Words that encouraged me to climb to new heights.

you always pass failure on the way to success.

DSC_0076Scripture that has comforted my soul

word fourteen

DSC_0076and made me stronger.

DSC_0076Words of inspiration I have found that helped me during those difficult times.

DSC_0076There were new quotes and sayings that I found on distant shores.

one joy scatters a hundred griefs

DSC_0076Always there have been those words that have made me stop dead in my tracks.

DSC_0076Oh, but there are words that have made me want to crawl inside of them,

boots and dandelions

DSC_0076because I have had to learn to live them.

DSC_0076These are the words that have been the most treasured words of all.

DSC_0076Speaking of words, I love the lyrics to this song, Lost in Space.

kimklassencafeAll of the textures that I used in my photographs are from the amazing Kim Klassen.  She is hosting another Texture Tuesday.  So do stop by.

P.S.

As a thank you for stopping by, I would like to offer a gift of any image from this post for your own personal use.  Please take home any image from my post, that speaks to your heart.

Lovely words you've chosen to live with, Karen. I so appreciate the thought that goes into your posts...the repeating threads...the motifs...the beautiful graphics. Thank you.

Oh, and thank you for thinking of me as you went sailing past. You're a sweetheart.

Thank you for this post, dear Karen. I needed it.

Words are powerful, They can be a gift. Hopefully, those that use words to hurt will be gifted with some that heal.

I am so late, but these are mere words....I am HERE, so that is action. And words,oh how I love them. I would study linguistics if time allowed, and to also think of GOD'S GREATEST GIFT: THE WORD in His son....beautiful thoughts my friend, Anita
