Sweet Roses Inspiration

Roses ephemera background

I love roses and they always make me think of romantic memories.

Just wanted to share my daydreams today.

kk_allthat

If you would like some roses today, please take some home from my post.  I think if you click here in magazine view,  and then click on the post, it will be easier to copy the images.

Textures and backgrounds  for my Roses image above, from the lovely Kim Klassen.

If you visit her blog, she has a lovely Inspired Words printable for you. Have you ever visited The Inspiration Studio?  It's called a celebration of daily inspiration.

The song for this post is the most romantic Stardust.

Speaking of Roses, my Roses Babushka's have bloomed into Babushka Boxes.  Now I have somewhere to create pretty stashes.

I entered my new Babushka Ornament design in the current contest on Spoonflower. It is one of the designs in my French Script Christmas collection.  We were asked to fit an ornament and instructions how to sew it on one fabric swatch.  Eeek what a challenge.  8" by 8".

Click here to see all the wonderful ornaments and vote for your favorite.  The contest is for a Hanging Ornament Pattern.

I just got back the fabric for Babushka Garland, here is is printed on Quilting Cotton Fabric

Pink, pink, pink...have I posted enough pink today?  It's time for Pink Saturday.  Bev from How Sweet The Sound it hosting.

I love the beautiful textures Kim Klassen has on her blog but with Adobe hasn't figured out how to work with the upgraded and new Mac OS so my photoshop won't work. Until then I'm living vicariously through your beautiful images.

I found that I still have a couple stray roses blooming in my garden Karen, and they are all the sweeter for being the last roses of the year. Such pretty images. What a great use for the babushka fabric!

Hi Karen,
Gorgeous day dreams you share. And, your roses with Kim's backgrounds are wonderful.
My garden roses are still doing great in fact better then they did during our extreme heat of the summer. Fall is blessing us with beautiful roses all around.

Your blog looks amazing my friend and I love your gorgeous little pic of you. You are so pretty!!

Hugs, Celestina Marie
