Texture Tuesdays

Texture Tuesdays is hosted by Kim Klassen.

This is the photo I am using for Texture Tuesdays.  Taken at Tower Hill Botanical Garden in March of this year.
This week Kim asked us to use her Warm Sun texture and create something.  Here is my recipe:

So here is my Warm Sun textured photograph for this week's challenge.

teacup without backgroundThe song for this post is Tea for Two.

Texture Tuesday Tea

DSC_0059I added this week's textured photo to my teacup photo.  Then I used a dry brush in white to outline the teacup and correct the border.  Once I was satisfied with the design I changed the image to sepia.

Thank you Kim, your inspiration has opened up a brand new world of texture for me.

I appreciate the use of textures, and like what you've done, thought admittedly, warmer hues aren't my preference with photography. But yours certainly reminds me of summer, can't complain about that hey? Love what you've done with the tea cup too. Very effective.
Thanks for sharing your new discoveries.

Hi Darling friend!
Looks like you are hard at work with the textures.

I enjoy the process but havent fallen in love with every photo texturized.

Its always such a treat to stop by your spot -- you inspire me to get to work!

Hope you are enjoying spring!

Your post is so inspiring Karen - I am new to Photoshop, but will certainly have a play with one photo on top of another. The cup and saucer is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh Karen I am blown away by the edits. I really love how you edited the photo. Not sure what you mean by erased. Does that mean with the eraser tool or just brushed out with a layer mask? V
