Open Inspiration

KK Soft and sanded Shakespeare sonnet texture
soft light, and used for background

This week Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday is all about the word "OPEN."

KK Cool Grunge soft light
and kk framed from kk ultimate
bundle part one, used as background

When I read the theme, I thought about my favorite thing to open.

Like the door to Nesting on Main.

Using Kim's KKtheladder texture.
Several layers with soft light,
 and brush to highlight

kk Cool grunge,
soft light
from kk ultimate bundle part one

Clearly it is the doorway into my favorite Vintage shops, like Grove and Main.

and lighter several layers
and background from kk ultimate bundle part one

How I love the hunt once I am inside.

and used as background from kk ultimate bundle part one
Opening up all the drawers and cupboards that hold so many wonderful vintage treasures. and magical things that remind me of my childhood.

kk breakfree soft light
and background from kk ultimate bundle part one

I love the children's books in Bowerbird & Friends.

and background from kk ultimate bundle part one

Drawers filled with all kinds of special things,

and background from kk ultimate bundle part one

Somedays I can go home without buying a thing.  Just capturing an open door to inspiration. The song for this post is The Simple Life.

If you would like to join in, just be inspired by the word "Open" and include one of Kim's textures.

Enjoy all the "Open" finds on this week's OPEN eDition for Texture Tuesday at Kim Klassen's Cafe.

Oh Karen, that first image with the lamp is so stunning! I am getting some ideas from your layout here on how to rearrange my writing desk area. With some white/gray paint, it could look just like this! THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION! Anita

Oh, your wand will be sent out tomorrow!

I'll be back! Music such as this plays all the time we shop at the Flea Market we love. It's a nice touch.

I'd love to peek with you into those open drawers and cupboards.
